Extremely pleased! The entire process of this purchase has been positive; Z is quick to respond and provided valuable updates. I sent a few options I wanted to see in the embroidery, and it came out looking perfect.
The bag quality is next to none and a CANADIAN PRODUCT!!! I have worked in the golf industry many years and consider myself a gear nut. I’ve kept the same “go to” carry bag since 2004 but have tried and tested a warehouse full of cart bags, other carry bags hybrids etc. I enjoyed some options of each bag but never has a bag had all my favorite options until now...
First and foremost, the style is stunning, exactly my cup of tea. The attention to details is what makes this a game changer in my books. Major upgrades such as the waterproofing (materials, all zippers) but also often overlooked items such as the rain cover. This is normally an after thought on most high-end bags and usually a pain to put on, but on these bags they are perfect. Unique styling, long enough to accommodate today’s driver, easy to install metal snaps and most importantly the cover overlaps the exterior of the bag, so the water does NOT funnel off the cover and into the club section.
The extra strength towel ring is situated high on the bag so when you loop a player’s towel is does not drag on the ground or on the pushcart wheels. The extra little hook on the opposing side is perfect for a speaker, club brush etc. which adds to the functionality.
The cooler pocket easily fits a hockey style water bottle (or a few tall cans) and holds the ice/water… some bags have drain holes…so the water ends up at the bottom of the bag and on your grips.
Key chain hook inside the main pocket; never thought I’d need this until I had it on another bag and truly found it useful.
Just the right number of pockets, clam shell holds firm, velcro strip for your gloves, the carbon fiber legs with the wide feet… every bag I’ve ever owned had aluminum legs and they ALWAYS bend…on the power cart, pushcart or just the airlines.
Not to overlook the strapping system, sturdy metal hooks and latches. The straps are comfortable, and I really appreciate the quick and easy removal system if you’re using a pull cart etc.
The 4-way top is just the right size, fits all my clubs (midsize grips) without the struggle to pull out and put away clubs. I’ve had a few bags with 14-way dividers,putter well and I thought I’d miss it on this bag, but I really don’t. It would increase the bulk and weight of those bags whereas this bag is very light which is a must for me.
I am more then pleased with my purchase and have raved about it to my playing partners; one of which already purchased his own (Bomber). It is a Canadian company and I hope this review convinces you to purchase your own.
